Automated Invoice Reminders for Jobber Core Users

Jobber Core doesn't include automated invoice follow-ups. PayNudge adds a 3-step email sequence — day 1, day 3, and day 7 past due — without changing your Jobber plan.

The short answer

Jobber Core (at time of writing, US$21–49/month) does not include automated invoice follow-up emails. Getting them inside Jobber means upgrading to Jobber Connect (at time of writing, US$70/month on an annual plan, US$139/month month-to-month). PayNudge is a separate add-on that connects to your existing Jobber account — Core or otherwise — and sends a 3-step automated email sequence at day 1, day 3, and day 7 past due, for CA$29/month (approximately US$21). No Jobber plan change required. Pricing sourced from Jobber's pricing page — verify before deciding, as tiers change.

The Jobber Core follow-up gap

Jobber is excellent at running a field-service business — scheduling, dispatching, quoting, invoicing. But as of writing, follow-up on unpaid invoices is manual on Core. If a client doesn't pay on time, you have to notice, remember, and reach out yourself.

Jobber Connect does include automated invoice follow-ups — Jobber describes them as reminding clients by email and/or text with a one-click pay option, and does not publish how many steps you get. But at US$70/month on an annual plan (US$139/month month-to-month) it is a significant step up from Core. If automated follow-ups are the only Connect feature you need, that upgrade may not be worth it.

PayNudge is a separate tool that plugs into your existing Jobber account and handles the follow-up layer on top of it. Three automated emails. No Jobber plan upgrade. No switching invoicing tools.

What PayNudge does — precisely

Email reminders — fully automatic

Each step in the sequence fires on its own, at day 1, day 3, and day 7 past due. You write the wording once; PayNudge sends it on schedule, in your business name, from your reply-to address.

SMS drafts — you send them yourself

PayNudge does not send SMS automatically. For any reminder step, it generates a one-tap draft: you tap the link, your phone opens a pre-written message to your client, and you hit send. The text comes from your own phone number and looks like a direct personal message — because it is.

Stops when the invoice is paid

When your Jobber integration syncs payment status, remaining reminders for that invoice stop automatically. You can also mark an invoice paid inside PayNudge at any time. No follow-ups go out after payment is recorded.

What PayNudge is not

PayNudge is not affiliated with or endorsed by Jobber. It is not part of the Jobber marketplace. It connects through Jobber's published API independently.

The reminder sequence

This is the actual cadence PayNudge runs — not a sample. You edit the wording of each step; PayNudge controls the timing.
